Born on January 28 in Hatillo, Norberto finished a Bachelor's degree in Painting at the Escuela de Artes Plásticas in San Juan.

He also studied Education at the Interamerican University of Arecibo.

Norberto uses the Puerto Rican landscape and its people as the focus of his artwork, in a style that is his uniquely his.

Jaime was born on July 7, 1975 in Mayagüez. As a young child, he showed a natural talent for art. At the Interamerican University in San Germán he completed a Bachelor's in Graphic Art and Painting.

Today he works various art media: serigraphs, oil paintings, acrylic paintings, and drawings.

The most predominant themes in his art are colonial architecture, nudes, and social criticism.

Alicia Maury (Mayagüez, P.R.)

Alicia Maury, artist, artisan, and professor, was born in San Sebastián, P.R.

She studied Education of Fine Arts in Universidad Interamericana de San Germán, received a Bachelor's in Sociology from Montclair University in New Jersey, and got her Master's in Education of Fine Arts from Kean University in New Jersey.

For many years she has worked as a freelnace artist, allowing her to expand and perfect her talent.

Her paintings have been showed in gallery exhibits and art museums in the U.S., P.R., and Europe.

She says, "In my paintings, I wish to express something more than a simple landscape. I want to express liberty, peace, and serenity in sublime and romantic landscapes. When I paint, I am recreating my memories... from when I was a little girl, running around my town. It is for this reason that my paintings are inspired by the countryside scenery."

Samuel moved from Mayagüez to New York with his parents at the young age of 9.

In New York, he worked as a professional illustrator. Most of his original paintings were about New York street scenes, showing the life and character of his new home.

Moving back to P.R. in 2001, Samuel continued his devotion to art, specializing in pieces that not only capture the island as he remembers it when he was young, but also reflecting on how life was in earlier decades.
